At Picture Perfect Cleaning, we are constantly looking for new ways to increase our customers’ satisfaction by improving our cleaning approach and technique. The two owners of Picture Perfect Cleaning, Jared Sarbit and Aaron Graham, recently attended a seminar in Maumee, Ohio (click here to see pictures from the trip) hosted by Spartan Chemical. We gained a number of new skills during this workshop that we’re excited to share with our customers. Here are just a few of the things we took away from this extraordinary cleaning seminar.
ISSA Certification
The ISSA is the worldwide cleaning industry association. The ISSA helps to regulate industry standards to ensure that cleaning companies around the world are providing the safest and most efficient service possible. During this recent seminar in Maumee, Ohio, the two owners of Picture Perfect Cleaning received certification from the ISSA. This means that both Jared and Aaron are now Cleaning Industry Training Standard (CITS) professionals.
The CITS program was developed to teach frontline cleaning staff as well as supervisors and managers effective cleaning techniques and training methods. With CITS certification, Picture Perfect Cleaning is now able to teach our team members the latest in cleaning techniques. We’re excited to share our new comprehensive set of cleaning skills with our clients.
Stay Humble—There’s Always More to Learn
One of the biggest lessons we learned during this eye-opening seminar was the importance of staying humble. After years of cleaning experience and numerous satisfied customers, it’s easy to rest on your laurels. However, cleaning techniques and products are constantly improving so it’s crucial to keep your approach to commercial cleaning updated or you could be working inefficiently without even realizing it.
